NINA FORMANEK

GRAPHIC DESIGNER | CONTENT CREATOR | ILLUSTRATOR

Nina Formanek in a nutshell:
At this given point in my life, I am gobbled up by all things design. I focus most of my nine-to-five cooking up and pursuing new projects that encompass, Graphic Design, Shoe Design, Illustration and Photography. I am a lover of all things bold, eccentric, exciting and eclectic.

On another note when I am not doing the creative things, you will either find me planning my next road trip, flicking through a National Geographic magazine, tending to my herb garden or
curating a playlist.

About me

Kultured Packaging Design

The brief tasked students to co-design packaging & create a concept-based care pack for a disease. As a point of departure, I researched and compiled primary and secondary research on Intestinal Bowel Syndrome and alternative medical remedies. Fermented foods are rich in probiotic & accessible to all, thus Kultured was born.

Kultured is a care pack that takes an alternative & magical approach to the power and potential fermented foods hold. Kultured captures an enchanting feel that encapsulated the magical properties natural probiotics possess.

Festival Identity System

Bringing textiles back to the place where they belong.

Molo serves as an innovative event to connect all African textile-related communities – from designers, distributors and dealers, manufacturers to artists and students. An important role will be played by the exchange of skills, experiences and inspirations, which may result in collaboration and new exciting opportunities on the African continent and the local community.

The diverse and eclectic programme of the festival will host numerous workshop, shows, exhibitions, discussion panels and lectures, as well as space for networking and sharing of ideas. The mission is to change the way we think about textiles, restore their cultural value, and expand on the broad opportunities that textiles possess.
