About me

Tranquility

Tranquility, a website to calm your spirits
I was tasked with designing a feel good website. My website focused on mental well being and aimed to calm users down, after a long day or stressful situation.

The website was named Tranquility, the word itself meaning calm and tranquil. I researched calming colours and created imagery and videos that fight anxiety and stress.

INFLU9NCE Magazine

For this brief students were tasked with designing a magazine cover, demonstrating the culture they identify with, consisting of a masthead and imagery portraying this. Visuals had to be done by hand and the masthead had to be created in Adobe Photoshop.
The culture I identified with was the 90’s. The mood of the magazine I was going for is a nostalgic, grainy, disco, colourful feel. The magazine was inspired by my parents, as they lived through this iconic era. The model on the cover is wearing baggy jeans and brown lipstick, as she poses like the iconic ’At your best you are loved’ 90’s singer, Aaliyah.
