About me

Car Fling

An integrated campaign designed to target the pain points discovered in the Car purchasing and selling community.

This campaign included radio ads – to be played in peak hour traffic to the ‘preoccupied seller’, as well as long copy posters in spaces where people will be wasting time or waiting such as elevators and bathroom stall doors. As an extension of the radio and long copy, we have created a set of visual renditions of the horrifying stories that are depicted in the ads – this comprises an interactive spider diagram where the user can live their experience through a “choose your own path” graphic.

A microsite was also created to offer an informative user journey with FAQ’s and other helpful information. And lastly a car ‘photobooth’ to allow consumers to beautifully capture their cars for resale purposes.

Impilo

Impilo is a wellness retreat founded to support patients recovering from and coping with chronic illness. The retreat was created to offer a space of healing, support and holistic treatment located in Gcuwa, a small town in the Eastern Cape.

The decision was made to highlight the culture and beauty of the Xhosa people in the area and their ingenious use of the local, available botanicals around the Gcuwa area. The African Ginger Oil flower was the inspiration behind the impilo brand, bringing the uniquely beautiful colours of the logo to life and inspiring the creation of a wellness retreat for chronically ill patients to heal and grow in the beautiful environment surrounding Gcuwa.

The name impilo is Xhosa for the word, to heal, and encompasses the goal of the retreat. The brand makes use of simplistic typefaces, unique colour choices and works to enhance the collateral items it is imprinted on.

Covid Zine

A unique typeface was created to convey the understanding and complexity of Physical Distancing. Apply your font as the Primary font in a Booklet / Information Brochure / Zine.

The United Nations (UN) needs your help in translating critical public health messages, into work that will engage and inform people across different cultures, languages, communities and platforms.

Spacial Connect is a typeface designed around the idea of encouraging physical distancing over social distancing in the current time of the global Covid-19 pandemic. The colour palette was chosen to depict the colours of emotions; calm, concern, uncertainty and sadness. Spacial Connect is a display type only, it would usually not be used for body copy but rather for posters or headlines.
