Hi! Konichiwa!
I’m Masego Morgan.
I’m passionate about sustainability and ethics, especially in regards to the fashion industry, as most people around the world wear clothes and our cultural stories are woven into them. I am the co-creator of cnscs_, a passion project that aims to inspire an inclusive approach to sustainable life and style, with a focus on telling African stories.
I aim to inspire people to become more conscious consumers. In the future, I hope to help brands create meaningful experiences with ethics and sustainability practices incorporated throughout.
Thank you! Arigato!

Millennial parents aren’t necessarily activists when it comes to purchasing decisions, but do buy with intention. They want to buy from a brand that does good, making it easy and accessible for them to feel good.
Sow. was born. The name was chosen because sow means to plant a seed, and planting a seed, having to nurture it, and watching it grow, is much like the journey of starting and raising a family. Sow. is an ethically-sourced casual wear brand for the whole family.
Made in collaboration with Daniëlle Botha and Cheylin Wertheim.
In 2015 it was reported that 73% of the world’s clothing was sent to incarceration or landfill. Boro.ed, deriving from the Japanese term Boro meaning worn(out) referring to the born-out-of-necessity patchworking technique used by lower-income communities during Japan’s Edo period, is an educational mending platform and community.
Consumers can learn about different mending techniques and how to utilise them to refurbish and refashion what would be their clothing waste. Humanities stories are woven into clothes, Boro.ed helps consumers change their story from one of waste and overconsumption to one of preservation and repair. Icocokeele, translates to ‘clean’ in English, is a typeface created and inspired by the virus structure, each letter has both a clean side and infected area.
The typeface aims to emphasise the importance of personal hygiene when it comes to preventing the spread of COVID-19 to an audience that already feels that personal hygiene is important when it comes to grooming and appearance.
The type-driven campaign aims to encourage the target audience to keep their clean habits, while also providing them with the knowledge about why these habits are so important. Staying fresh, staying clean to stay safe.
The town of Pniel is located between Franschoek and Stellenbosch, both well known for their wine farms. Geel, healing workshop, is created to share the knowledge, that has been passed down from generation to generation in Pniel.
Geel offers a sober drinking experience for people to bond or detox after visiting all the wine farms. Geel celebrates Pniel’s mixed and diverse history, that is connected to the emancipation of enslaved people in 1834.
