Place of Plenty was created in response to a brief requiring the development of a corporate identity system for an event in the town of Philippi in the Western Cape. Place of Plenty is an artisanal organic produce & harvest market that celebrates the best of the Philippi agricultural bounty and is located in the Philippi Horticultural Area.
At Place of Plenty, we believe that it’s important to know the traceability of our food and where and how it is being grown, and that’s why this market brings together the customer and farmer, bringing a hands-on approach back to the farmers market.
Customers are able to pick their own vegetables while at the same time receiving insight and harvesting techniques straight from the farmers themselves. We believe in sustainable, organic quality food and beverages and our partners and suppliers demonstrate that philosophy.
We curate upcoming local farmers and suppliers who align with our values to make sure we stay current. Place of Plenty was created to bring an authentic farmers’ market experience to the town of Philippi.
This brief tasked students to solve the core need of a South African community vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus, through a typographically based editorial design.

This brief tasked students to create branding and a 3D packaging concept that would become a care package alternative to the current widespread use of single-use plastic pharmaceutical packaging. Derived from the term “Mother Earth”, Terra Mata was created in harmonious balance with nature & the life force of Earth during a time of great change & instability.
With the physical world being such an uncertain place, the only thing we can rely on is our inner world & the relationship with ourselves. Now, more than ever before, it is essential that we are taking care of our bodies, as they are our soul’s chosen home & our anchor to this world. Terra Mata serves as a reminder that all healing is sourced from within; Health is created moment by moment, breath by breath.
At the end of the day, you are your own best healer & source of medicine, & the healing frequency of plants have simply been used as a catalyst of remembrance upon the healing path. Taking us back to our ancestral roots & ancient ways, we encourage you to use these plant medicines to support existing practices of self love & care.
This self initiated brief aimed to solve the issue of the lack of support & public education for women to understand themselves & their (hormonal & menstrual) cycles, which need to be understood through an emotional-spiritual lens of a feminine embodied nature. SYNC-IN FLOW is a community based brand that empowers all women to connect to their raw, feminine, instinctual, non-rational knowledge that is sourced from bodily intuition & ritual based practices.
When we understand that the divine design of life is cyclic, we can harness the power of the cycles in support of our personal growth. We empower women to connect back to the wisdom of their menstrual & hormonal cycles & sacred womb space, so that they may re-awaken to the true power of the feminine & create a legacy for their future daughters where they are held in conscious community by a circle of women through trust, support & sacred sisterhood.
When women gather in a circle there is collective power to heal, find our voice, rise up & make a difference in our communities. We have developed a circle support structure inspired by the teachings of The Red Tent that provides a safe space for women to trust, love, dream & share. We empower women to learn about their natural cycles & connect back to themselves through ancient wisdom, body-based practices, meditations & rituals.
