Hi I’m Denessa Garcia, this year I am doing the Higher Certificate in Graphic Design.
All my work at Red & Yellow is about the way I see beauty and it
was about things I hold dear to my heart like experiences, friends
and family.
Most memorable moment while at Red & Yellow was when
everyone came together to ensure that learner were still able to be
educated and that all stuff members made sure that all learners
were coping with these changes.
My most enjoyed briefs have to have been Animation Design, App
Design, Apparel Design and Website Design
About me
Animation
This animation is called survivor and was created to bring awareness about sexual abuse by using a well-known trend on social media as my inspiration. This trend was used to show that many people were survivors of sexual abuse.
App Design
The app which was designed by Malikah Adams and myself was influenced by the Ayurveda which is one of the oldest forms of health systems in the world, it aims to prevent illnesses and diseases while promoting a natural, healthy lifestyle. The practise is done by harmonizing the elements Kapha, Pitta and Vata which is mind, body and soul. We wanted to create this music app so that there is different genre for each of the different Dosha’s.
Infographic
This Infographic design shows the 5 most important steps of applying make. I used this to advertise and makeup event which is my collateral, where people would learn the beauty within which is why my models face only has makeup on one side of the face.
Identity Design
This is a business I created what creates beauty products which help people see the true beauty which lies within themselves which this I created a business card, logo and a livery design for a brand identity.
